LRPHO CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT
Purposes – To provide educational opportunities that will contribute to the professional learning, maintenance of clinical competency and promotion of appropriate implementations of medical advances.
Content Areas – To provide education on various topics representative of all medical specialties encompassing the broad range of physicians; and incorporate practice management topics ensuring a holistic approach to the continued professional development of healthcare providers.
Target Audience – To target an audience of physicians and other healthcare professionals, including but not limited to, primary care physicians and specialists.
Types of Activities & Services Provided – To utilize established adult education theories and provide multiple formats of educational delivery to meet the learning needs and modalities best suited to a diverse audience of physicians and allied health professionals representative of all medical disciplines.
Expected Results – To enhance physician competency, while offering an avenue to obtain CME credit.
